We are equally at home playing large festivals or small informal sessions.Our driving force is our Passion for our native music.
Pholk Law consists of : Paul "Piper" Collins,Piper has been playing Highland pipes since he was 8 years old and has won many National and International competitions in his time.He also plays Uillean pipes,whistles and low whistles.Just listen to his rendition of Lonesome Boatsman as a fine example.Piper's family hail from Abbeyleix,Co.Laois
Paul "Hippy" Partridge , Hippy has over 25 year experience in stringed instruments from guitar to balalaika and has played with many bands over the years.He has now found a Home with Pholk Law and has found his forte with the Bluegrass Banjo.The speed he jumps around the notes are a wonder and a joy to behold.Hippy hails from the Rhymney Valley,Wales.
Des O'Neill,Des hails from Athy,Co.Kildare and a well known musical family.Des plays guitar,bodhran and tenor banjo as well as singing and is the driving rhythm in The Pholk Law line up.
Paul "Cork" Walsh ,Cork hails from Cork City "De Real Capitol".He spent time in the Gaeltach region of Ireland as a youth where he learned many songs.Cork plays mandolin,mandola and bodhran,as well as singing the odd song.
